Homestead Title Corporation was an underwritten title company transacting business in San Luis Obispo County. The company was seized after it was discovered that there were escrow shortages in the trust accounts. We successfully recovered assets and were able to complete a 100% distribution to the known escrow depositors.
The CLO has completed all necessary closing activities. The court proceeding was terminated and the estate closed on October 14, 2003.
