K.D. Excess & Surplus Insurance Services (and related companies) were liquidated in August 1994. All claims have been adjusted and the Court approved the final distribution application in December 2001. However, the shareholders filed a Notice of Appeal on March 22, 2002 with the 4^th District Court of Appeal (Santa Ana) alleging that our allocated expense methodology is excessive. They also objected to the administrative, professional, legal and other fees required to close the estate.

All matters have now been resolved. A final distribution was made in January of 2002. The Declaration of Compliance and estate closure was filed on April 29, 2004.
