I need to over-night my payment. Where should I send it?
Please call Customer Service Department at (800) 995-4449.

Can I make my payment in my Agent's office?
National Auto is a direct-bill company. Checks that are received in the Agent's office have to, in-turn, be mailed to National Auto. This delays your payment from being applied immediately to your account. For your convenience, the invoice we mailed to you includes a pre-addressed envelope. As an added convenience, you may make a credit card or debit card payment by calling our Customer Service Department at (800) 995-4449.

Do I have to pay a late fee if I am unable to make my payment on time?
A $10 late fee may be assessed if the payment is not received by the due date.

What number do I call if I have a claim?
You can call our Claims Department at (800) 259-9664, 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, to report a claim.

What is "full coverage"?
"Full coverage" means that your vehicle(s) includes both Liability and Physical Damage coverages. It does not mean that you have all available coverages on your vehicle(s). If you would like to verify what coverages you have on your policy, check with your National Auto Agent or call our Customer Service Department at (800) 995-4449. You may also refer to your auto insurance policy declaration page, as it lists the coverages you have selected.

If I use a towing service, where do I send a copy of my towing bill for reimbursement?
Write your policy number on the towing bill and mail or fax a copy to:
National Automobile & Casualty Insurance Co.

What number do I call if I have a question about my policy?
Our Customer Service Department number is (800) 995-4449. A Customer
Service Representative is available to help you Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00PM. You may also submit questions via our website; simply click on the link "Contact Us".

Why do I have to add all the people in my home to my policy when they will not drive my car?
One of the reasons National Auto offers such low rates for excellent drivers is because we carefully evaluate every policy, including who has access to your vehicle(s). Also, your policy may not extend coverage to, or coverage may be limited for any driver who is not disclosed on your Declaration page. It is for your protection that we know about every person in your household, and any drivers of your vehicle.

What should I take with me to show I am insured when I am driving in Canada?
For no extra charge, at your request, we will mail you a Canada Card. Simply call our Customer Service Department at (800) 995-4449. Your policy must be in-force through the dates of your trip. The Canada Card is acceptable evidence of insurance to Canadian officials.

Am I covered if I drive into Mexico?
For your protection, when driving in Mexico, you should secure coverage from an insurance company that is licensed under the insurance laws of Mexico. National Auto does offer limited coverage while driving in Mexico. However, we recommend that you contact your National Auto Agent or Customer Service Department for additional information at (800) 995-4449. Additionally, you may refer to your contract on page 11 Section 30.

If I am involved in an accident, will my premium increase?
If you are found to be at least 51% responsible for an accident and there is more than $500 paid from the Property Damage liability and/or Collision coverage, or if there is any payment made from the Bodily Injury Liability coverage, your rates may be increased at your next renewal.

How long will I be charged for violations on my driving record?
All minor traffic convictions (e.g., speeding, illegal turn) and accidents remain on your driving record for three years. DUI (Driving Under the Influence) violations remain on your driving record for seven years.

How long will I be charged for accidents on my driving record?
At-fault accidents will be surcharged for up to five years, however, National Auto offers some of its lowest rates to drivers who have been "at-fault" accident free for the last five years.
